PRIVATE EVENTS

    • Our Cantina del Sol Rooftop consists of a Food Truck, Covered Rooftop & Cantina bar.

    • The Rooftop can accommodate up to 85 people seated.

    • The Rooftop can accommodate up to 135 people standing. 

    • We rent the space for three-hour increments. An extra hour will increase the food and beverage minimum by a third.

    • If the food and beverage minimum is not met, the remainder will be billed as a room charge.

    • Many private parties will not meet their food and beverage minimum and may have a large room charge in order to reach the minimum. This is normal. Minimums are set to reflect what the restaurant would normally sell if we opened to the public and turned the tables over a few times to normal guests. The good news is that it can be easy to stay within your preset budget.

    • Ticketed events are not allowed for the rented space.

    Special rates may apply for festivities days (e.g. Cinco de Mayo, Pride weekend, Capitol Hill Block Party, etc)

    • Hosted Bar - All margaritas, specialty drinks, beer and wine are totaled and charged to the main bill.

    • Cash Bar- Guests pay for drinks individually with a credit card.

    • Partial Hosted Bar/Drink Tickets- You decide on the amount of drink tickets and pass them out. We charge the main bill based on what is served (ex. $6 for a beer) and then add to the main bill. We do not charge for unused tickets.

  • We are unable to control the whims of Mother Nature, but we do have heaters available. It can be an enclosed pavilion, and we have curtains to help block some rain/wind. The pavilion, however, only seats 60 people.

  • We will need a credit card and signed contract to secure a reservation. We do charge a cancellation fee equal to 20 percent of the food and beverage minimum for parties canceling within 15 days of their event. In the case of a “No Show”, or no one making it to the event, you will be charged the full food and beverage minimum with service charges and fees.
